Ilan Kalmanovich, CFV, QFV, FEM, Adv (Isr.), MBA (fin.) is the CEO of Leaders Consulting and Management LTD. specializing in professional, independent valuations in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), US GAAP, and Israeli GAAP for financial statement reporting and for audit, statutory, regulatory, legal, tax and M&A purposes. Valuations are prepared for purposes of both financial reporting and expert opinions to courts, regulatory and statutory bodies in Israel and abroad. Leaders Consulting and Management LTD led by an economist expert in the areas of economic consulting and valuation. Among the Company’s clients are dozens of the largest publicly traded companies in Israel.
He is also the Co-Founder and Legal Counsel of the Israel Association of Valuators and Financial Actuaries (IAVFA) and the Founding Partner of the law firm Kalmanovitz and Co., which specializes in civil and business litigation and economic law.
During the three past decades, Ilan has been actively involved in performing thousands of valuations and economic consultations in Israel and abroad in a variety of areas, totaling billions of US dollars. He is a former director in several publicly-traded and privately-held companies, including companies listed on the NASDAQ, a vice president of Fahan Kaneh Consultants Ltd (today part of Grant Thornton Israel), a vice president of Union Bank of Israel Ltd, a manager at Peilim Investment Portfolio Management Ltd., a consultant at Ziv Haft Consulting and Management Ltd (today part of BDO Israel), an analyst at Israel Credit Lines Analyst Ltd, and an engineer at the Central Bottling Company Ltd (Coca Cola Israel).
Ilan holds an MBA degree in Business Administration from Tel Aviv University, Israel, a BSc degree (cum laude) in Industrial Engineering from the Ben-Gurion University, Israel, and a LLB degree from Sha'arei Mishpat College, Israel. He also holds an Israeli Certified Lawyer License from the Israel Bar Associationand, an Israeli Certified Investment Advisor License from the Israel Securities Authority (ISA) and an Israeli Certified Court Mediator License from the Israeli Court Management. Ilan also holds a certified Corporate Finance Valuator (CFV) designation, a certified Quantitative Finance Valuator (QFV) designation, and a certified Financial and Economic Modelist (FEM) designation from the Israel Association of Valuators and Financial Actuaries (IAVFA). He enjoys high professional status as independent expert and is relied upon by state courts, auditors (-mainly the offices of the Big 4), state authorities and regulators.
The Israel Association of Valuators and Financial Actuaries (IAVFA) is a professional organization, an institution for professional training and a body which specializes in placing professional employees in the financial sector in Israel. IAVFA strives to voluntarily regulate the professions of valuation and financial actuarial science in Israel, both by setting pre-qualification requirements, ethical principles for practitioners in these professions, and by training and certifying quality professionals for these professions. IAVFA provides both placement services in order to integrate its credentialed members in leading positions within the Israeli labor market, and mediation services between valuation consumers and valuation specialists.
